Annie’s Frozen Custard, owned by Kay Gieszelmann and established in June 1996, is know throughout the area for serving up all natural frozen custard. Now in its 14th season of operation, Annie’s Frozen Custard continues to serve up delicious treats to custard fans from Edwardsville, Glen Carbon and surrounding areas.

Annie’s was opened out of Kay’s family’s love for frozen custard, but the great customers and fun employees are what have made the business Kay’s passion. Their custard is made every hour on the hour, and their very own Annie’s mix is poured into a machine and whipped into frozen slabs where it falls into a scooping container. Unlike soft serve, Annie’s machine adds very little air, which makes for a nice, thick, creamy treat.

A member since 1999, Kay has found that Chamber membership has played an important role in developing new ideas and interacting with the business community. Kay is also an active member of Eden United Church of Christ, serves as a board member for Faith In Action, and contributes to many school and church activities.

Beginning Memorial Day weekend and continuing until Labor Day weekend, Annie’s Frozen Custard will host live music on Saturdays and Sundays – come out with your family and friends to enjoy great tunes and delectable custard creations!

Annie’s Frozen Custard is located at 245 South Buchanan in Edwardsville. Learn more about Annie’s by dropping by and enjoying a cold treat, or visit Annie’s online at www.anniesfrozencustard.com.
